Japan Retreat
Kyushu Tour with Kansai Extension
Embark on a journey to southern Japan, where you'll delve into cultural experiences, participate in a guided yoga program, and explore various excursions including food, sake, city, and boat tours. Your itinerary will take you to cities such as Fukuoka, Sasebo, and Nagasaki, with the option to extend your trip to Kansai, visiting Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, and more.
We will practice yoga indoors and outdoors on various occasions culminating with a yoga program offered by a master Yogi in Sasebo. The program promises breathing practices, yoga asanas, tea ceremonies, corrective practices, and zazen meditation.
In between the yogic experiences, we will venture into various cities and off the beaten path to experience the many wonders and unique cultural components of Japan.
In Fukuoka, you'll receive guided tours of Tochoji Temple and Kushida Shrine, Canal City, Ohori Park, Maizuru Park, Fukuoka Castle Ruins, Nakasu, and more.
In Sasebo and Nagasaki, you'll experience memorable culinary outings, Fuchi Shrine, a sunset hike to Mount Inasayama, Peace Park Nagasaki, the Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum, So-Fukuji Temple, and Nagasaki Seaside Park.
From this point on, travelers will have the opportunity to return to Fukuoka and fly home, or extend their time in Japan with our Kansai Extension, where you'll visit notable sites, enjoy unique interactions with locals, and partake in memorable culinary delights in the cities of Kyoto, Osaka, and Nara.
